Palm’s Andrew Shebanow posted on his blog a question about what the developers would like to see in the WebOS and after receiving lots of responses, Palm decided to create a separate official blog about this – the Palm Developer Network Blog.
This is your chance to let Palm know what you would and would not like to see on the webOS platform, in particular in areas related to:
* Application installation and updating
* Ecommerce (purchase, trials, coupons, etc.)
* Security (code signing, testing, anti-phishing, malware, etc)
* Browsing and searching for applications

I hope you find a way to allow Palm software that was purchased to run on the pre . . .
A great feature that I really love is the copy/cut and paste feature from Windows Mobile. I really hope that makes it’s way into this beautiful looking OS.
Palm’s developer network website is a bit short on info as their developers are no doubt cranking away on getting the SDK released. If you’re looking for developer info now, a couple of us have set up a site dedicated exclusively to webOS application development. We’ll be adding new tutorials and resources to it regularly as new information becomes available from Palm. Visit us at http://www.weboshelp.net.
We encourage you to create an account and post about what features and information you want to see, as we plan to evolve the site based primarily on user feedback.
