Apple to show iPhone 3.0 software to compete with webOS on Pre

It seems that Apple doesn’t sleep while Palm prepares the webOS and the Pre – according to Engadget, the Cuppertino company will preview (read: not launch) the third generation iPhone OS in five days, on Martch 17th. iPhone and iPhone 2.0 were really good, so this one may be a real rival of the webOS, so we are eager to see it.

Any guess what will they offer? Will they have synergy on their own? Tell us in the comments.

    At least they will probably announce a release / availability date.

    C’mon Palm, you’re killing us with no info here. What was in your latest info session: nothing new.

  2. Who? says:

    Palm’s done. March 17 is D-Day. Once Apple unveils 3.0 the Pre will be completely deflated. Palm had their chance, and they 100% screwed it up.

    (Note, this is coming from a WinMo user who doesn’t like Apple. But the facts are the facts.)

    @Who?

    How is it fact if it hasn’t happened? It is YOUR opinion which isn’t fact. You neither no one else have any idea what 3.0 will offer. IF one were to take a guess, all they have to do is look at the 1st 2 versions of the iphone, there wasn’t that much of a difference in the OS. If Apple offers copy/paste or MMS, so WHAT?? That is available (has been available) on basic model phones.

    I dont care about Apple…. Do we have to read about them here? Blah!
