Palm Pre to come with Verizon in January

Now that is what we call a rumor. There is a story on The Wall Street Journal Blogs, saying the Palm Pre will be available with Verizon Wireless in half a year. As you all know, Sprint has an exclusive deal for the device with Palm, but as Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam has said: “over the next six months or so you will see devices like the Palm Pre” with the nation’s most reliable network. WSJ is now backing these thoughts with a statement by a person, who is said to be familiar with the situation, that Big Red will be offering the Pre from January. Now we wait.
