Palm Pre, App Catalog getting more apps soon?

Although it is rumor and conjecture, this is the kind of rumor and conjecture that goes well with fireworks, ice cream and apple pie – that the App Catalog may soon swell with long-awaited third-party apps for the Pre, beginning as early as next week. Allegedly, a number of developers accepted to the Early Access program have reported that Palm has given them the green light to submit their apps for consideration for the Beta App Catalog.
More apps in the App Catalog is not only good news, but in our opinion, it is vital to Palm’s success. With competition like the iPhone and an iTunes App Store bursting at the seams with thousands of apps, something better happen quick to keep the Pre relevant and interesting, and like it or not, even if the native apps on the Pre are fantastic and whiz-bang, it’s not enough in today’s app-hungry world to remain competitive. If you see some apps starting to appear, let us know what pops up!

I’m most interested in a call block or call guard application for the palm pre. Wish solutions already stated that it will not be making any call block apps for the pre. Will there be another company available in the making???
i would like if my palm pre would be able to put our contacts in catagorys, like the TREO.. centro, 650, 680, 755.. i cant seperate business from pleasure… PLEASE MAKE AN UPDATE… and i NEED new apps im gettin bored…… thank you

I would like palm to come out with a sceen keyboard app for the pre and more exciting ones….
We need apps soon we getting bored with the same ones. I would like to see a video recorder app and a app to edit your pics…
And still no wave of new apps. Seriously, this is a great little phone but it is the apps on iphone that still feeds some amount of envy. It will not take off or survive without a big influx of new fun apps, and then the early adopters will be stranded.
The pre, the coolest most boring fone out, need new apps! I can only play connect 4 for so long!! And please no more food finder apps.
I would like a health appt like where you can track your weigth, fitness goals and food intake. That will be an useful app.
