Comments on: Facebook app for Palm Pre?

I love my Pre but that one big thing that I don’t like about it… dosen’t have basic stuff…think about it it can sync up with facebook but it dosen’t have it own app? And there a lot other things missing to like the abliy to sync to myspace or twetter, even a official app for myspace would be nice!!!

Forgive me for saying so, but WHY does Pre not have a Facebook app yet? Even the older PalmOS phones have Facebook apps available… did Palm think the web version would be sufficient? It provides basically, well… NO options other than update status and make comments on others… sure the graphics are great but Palm needs to do more than that to be competitive… I am confident they will come around, but they were already late to the party (IPhone!!!) so they need to be a bit more motivated… just my .02

anything to spark webos development is good in my book. The pre handles x.facebook.com in a terrible manner, be it updating, photo comments and chat. I am a few more crappy apps away from learning webos development myself!

I hope these items available for the pixi are also going to be available for my PRE. Although the website on PRE is adequate, a dedicated FREE app would be great!!
