Palm Pre Plus & Pixi Plus gets the thumbs up in Germany

02Germany is going to get even more love from Palm as they’ve officially confirmed that both the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus are heading into the country – both being tied to an April 28th official launch. As a whole, Palm’s devices are being spread out to other wireless providers littered across Europe as they’ve confirmed that both O2 and Vodafone are expected to see the light of the devices – it’s also being reported that UK owners can expect to see them available through O2 UK as well. The somewhat blitzkrieg maneuver will hopefully spur the much needed sales of the two handsets on a worldwide scale. For their part in doing what they can, O2 Germany has been a prominent figure in attempting to make the Palm Pre a success – unfortunately, they will no longer have the exclusivity as they did previously. It’s not to say that’s a bad thing, especially for Palm, but this all out tactic might signal Palm’s determination to make things work – or a last ditch effort to change their fortunes around.

  3. I must say that my choice to buy a Palm Pixi with Sprint support was each a rational and emotional one. I suggest, the Palm Pixi is beautiful and functional. And coupled while using assistance quality of Sprint, it looks practically nothing short of a revolution inside creating. I believe that Palm and Sprint have (virtually) hit it off famously. I did a great deal of research ahead of acquiring the Pixi but overlooked at very least one point. The Pixi will not, yet, enable me synchronize my e-mails among it and Outlook. As far as I am concerned, that is a drawback I am facing unless Palm comes up with a solution swiftly. With my prior SmartPhone running a Windows OS, it was a snap to synchronize e-mails as well as other data with one’s Pc. But Pixi’s inability to try and do so is creating existence a small complicated for me mainly because I have to Bcc every e-mail, I send out, to my e-mail address and then manually transfer it towards the ’sent’ folder in Outlook. I hope Palm, or at minimum a third-party, will appear up which includes a alternative very soon that can effortlessly let me synchronize all my e-mails, and ideally all essential data, concerning the Pixi and my office Computer.
