With version 1.0, Pre owners can use this software to sync contacts, calendars, music, ringtones, photos, and more to their Mac computers. Windows users, you have reason to rejoice as well, although your gratification will be delayed – Mark/Space has promised an XP and Vista version, but it’s still in the works.

The Missing Sync, a well-known app famous for allowing users of Palm OS, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, and even iPhone to sync their devices more thoroughly with both Mac and PC, has just announced that Palm Pre owners will very soon be able to sync with the Mac and PC. According to their site, The Missing Sync will work with Mac applications that you may already use daily – Address Book, iTunes, iCal, Entourage, Safari and iPhoto. Syncing contacts and calendars can be accomplished via Wi-Fi, and media like music, ringtones, photos, videos and other files can be synced and transfered via USB cable.
Both Mac and PC users will have the opportunity to use The Missing Sync. You can sign up at their website (markspace) to receive their newsletter and updates about when it will be available.
